For our anniversary, at the end of May, we spent a weekend in Leavenworth, Washington. When the logging industry bust, Leavenworth reinvented itself as a Bavarian tourist destination. But even if ducking and weaving your way through strolling crowds isn’t your thing, Leavenworth is still a cool place to check out. The mountains are spectacular, and the rivers–whoa! Plus, it’s got enough brew pubs to accomodate everyone!
